Business Data Sets - Data with Celona Evolve is managed and migrated as Business Data Sets (BDS) which puts the data into a business context. For example, all customers based in the south west region, or within a certain department, using a certain product etc. This allows data sets to be defined according to the requirements of the migration, aligning the data migration plan with the business transformation plan, and providing high levels of flexibility and agility as data sets can be modified at any stage of the project – even during runtime! Alongside this a range of flexible plug-in adaptors for business applications whether that be Siebel CRM, Amdocs OSS network inventory, Oracle BRM, SAP ERP and others.

Master Data Model – Celona Evolve’s Master Data Model allows an application data migration to be managed end to end at a business level. The Celona Evolve model designer is used to create a migration model that defines business entities, business data sets, dependencies, data mappings and transformations and enables the choice of migration strategy. The migration model is used to configure Celona Evolve’s engine and is stored and reusable within a model library. This saves a lot of time and cost.
